What is an IPTV sub-reseller panel?
An IPTV sub-reseller panel is a reseller account that sits beneath a parent reseller account. The parent reseller creates the sub-reseller account from their own panel, allocates a number of credits to it, and the sub-reseller then uses those credits to activate their own customer subscriptions independently.
Sub-resellers do not purchase credits from the IPTV provider directly. They receive their credit allocation from the parent reseller. From the sub-reseller's perspective, their panel works the same as any other reseller panel — they create lines, manage customers, and control their own credit balance — but that balance comes from their parent, not from a direct credit purchase.
This feature is exclusive to the Premium IPTV reseller panel. Standard panel resellers can activate direct customer subscriptions but cannot create sub-reseller accounts.
How the sub-reseller model works
The sub-reseller tier adds a distribution layer between the parent reseller and end customers:
- The parent reseller purchases credits from Asnoir at wholesale cost
- The parent creates a sub-reseller account from their Premium panel
- The parent allocates credits to the sub-reseller's account
- The sub-reseller activates their own customer subscriptions using those credits
- The parent's credit balance is reduced by the allocation, not by the sub-reseller's individual activations
The parent reseller charges the sub-reseller for credits at a wholesale price of their own setting — lower than end-customer retail, but enough to generate a margin for the parent on every credit they allocate.
Sub-reseller vs direct reseller — key differences
| Feature | Direct reseller | Sub-reseller model |
|---|---|---|
| Who you sell to | End customers | Other resellers |
| Customer management | You manage customers directly | Sub-resellers manage their own |
| Support responsibility | You handle customer support | Sub-resellers handle their own support |
| Margin per credit | Full retail margin | Wholesale-to-wholesale margin |
| Scaling approach | Add more direct customers | Add more sub-resellers |
| Panel requirement | Standard or Premium | Premium only (for parent) |
Who the sub-reseller tier suits
The sub-reseller model on the Premium panel is suited to IPTV resellers in the UK who have outgrown direct selling and want to operate as a distributor. Rather than managing a large number of individual customer relationships, the parent reseller manages a smaller number of sub-reseller relationships and earns a margin on every credit those sub-resellers use.
It also suits resellers who already know other people who want to run their own IPTV reseller operation. The parent can supply the panel access and credits; the sub-resellers handle their own customers.
For resellers who are just starting out, the Standard panel — or the Premium panel used for direct selling — is the more straightforward entry point. The sub-reseller tier works better once you have established volume and existing relationships to distribute into.
